The Sundre Curling Club hosted its inaugural Open Doubles Bonspiel at the local rink on Saturday, Feb. 25, when 16 teams, including six local pairs, came to play. Everyone was guaranteed three games. Visiting teams came from the Calgary and Cochrane area. Organizers received positive feedback throughout the day and would like to make the bonspiel an annual event.
