Canada's cultural roots

Inuit author Michael Kusugak spoke to River Valley School students on Thursday, March 31. The Grade 2 curriculum studies different communities in Canada, including the Arctic. Kusugak has been coming since he lived in Water Valley about 20 years ago. He is an Inuit author from Rankin Inlet now living on Vancouver Island. His storytelling career began following an encounter with Robert Munsch, who encouraged him to tell his stories.
