Authorities seek help identifying suspect

The Sundre RCMP is seeking the public's help to identify a male suspected of breaking and entering the IGA. On Thursday, Sept. 29 at approximately 2:45 a.m.

The Sundre RCMP is seeking the public's help to identify a male suspected of breaking and entering the IGA.

On Thursday, Sept. 29 at approximately 2:45 a.m., the suspect broke into IGA on Main Avenue in Sundre and stole a quantity of cigarettes, tobacco and cash. The total value of stolen goods and money, including the damage caused to the building, is approximately $11,000, said police.

The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, in his 20s or 30s, slender build, no glasses or facial hair, approximately 5 feet 7 inches, wearing dark jeans, gloves, sneakers, and a dark blue or dark black hoody with white lettering on its front.

The investigation into this occurrence is continuing. Any persons with information about this occurrence are asked to contact the Sundre RCMP detachment at 403-638-3675 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
