Our members did a fabulous job on their speeches and four members moved on to compete at Zones public speaking on Feb. 20 in Innisfail. Our club hosted this year, and next month I will submit the names of the winners who also have a chance to compete at the upcoming District competition. Good luck everyone! It is quite a big deal and a great skill to learn public speaking.

At our public speak off on Feb. 4 we also drew the names of our raffle winners.

First prize (painted saw blade by Lazy Eye Illusions) went to Michael Ferris, second prize (wooden shelf by Ashlee's Attic) went to Cam Ryan, and third prize (10 second cut hay bales) went to Brian Glasgow. Congratulations everyone and thank you for supporting our club.

Our club has lots of exciting events coming up over the next few months so I'll have plenty to report on, including a recent visit with our seniors at Innisfail's Autumn Glen Lodge. See you next month!
