The Olds Albertan and the Mountain View Gazette are merging. The new product will be called the Mountain View Albertan.
Advertisers have made the decision for us – many have moved to the Gazette because of its larger circulation. We’re evolving along with our readers and customers. We, like every business, need to adapt to remain viable.
The move dovetails, more by coincidence than planning, with the launch of Mountainviewtoday.ca – our new, improved and more efficient digital platform. We will continue to inform and enlighten with print and digital offerings.
The Mountain View Albertan will resemble the original footprint of the Olds Albertan prior to the Mountain View Gazette’s launch – only a bit larger. It will offer more for our readers and advertisers.
Actually, it will be the same information produced in two newspapers presented in one.
Watch for the Mountain View Albertan. It will launch Dec. 24.
