In response to the O-NET article printed in the Olds Albertan on Nov. 17, 2015:

Congratulations to the O-NET team and the Town of Olds for having achieved such success. We are proud to be part of a community that had the foresight and perseverance to take on a project of this magnitude.

Success of this sort does not come without a lot of commitment – financial commit from the local and provincial governments, a committed board and employees of O-NET.

But it also takes the commitment of the citizens of the Town of Olds.

In 2012, as newcomers to Olds, we didn't consider another vendor for our Internet, TV or telephone services. We understood the value of this locally grown commodity and knew that purchasing services from a competitor was taking money out of our community.

And while we were motivated by loyalty, the product didn't disappoint us. With such a fast Internet service, playing games and watching movies became a whole new experience.

Every time we travel and use the Internet elsewhere, we are reminded that what we have is unique.

In order for the Town of Olds to truly benefit from this commodity, O-NET needs more subscribers. While O-NET is gaining interest right across this country, they are committed to the Town of Olds.

With gift giving and holidays right around the corner, this is a great time to purchase a subscription and show O-NET that their biggest supporters are right in their own backyard. At the same time you'll be giving back to our community.
