Sundre's a small town with big talent

I had the privilege of attending the Sundre High School Drama Club's presentation of In the Heights, and I would like to take this opportunity to commend all those who were involved in this amazing production.

I had the privilege of attending the Sundre High School Drama Club's presentation of In the Heights, and I would like to take this opportunity to commend all those who were involved in this amazing production.

From the moment I walked into the Sundre Arts Centre, I knew that I was about to witness something spectacular. The set appeared professionally designed and instantly transported the audience to a neighbourhood on Manhattan Island.

Once the musical began, the magic continued with four extremely gifted musicians making it seem like an entire orchestra was present. This production required a large cast, and while Sundre may be a small town, we are definitely big on talent!

The actors, including both students and Sundre High School teachers, were professional and up for the challenge of a big-city musical, entertaining the audience with their acting, singing and dancing skills. Countless hours must have gone into this ambitious project and I am so grateful for the time, commitment and dedication of all of those involved with In the Heights, whether they were in the spotlight or behind the scenes. Their energy and enthusiasm for theatre was evident and a delight for all those fortunate enough to be in attendance.

Congratulations on a job well done, and thank you for sharing your talents with Sundre!
