I recently had the pleasure of attending Sundre High School's Showcase 2016, which was held at the Sundre Arts Centre on the evenings of Wednesday and Thursday, May 25 and 26.
Congratulations to all for a job well done! It was an outstanding evening full of variety and quality performances and it was also very uplifting to watch the talent and hard work put forth by the students and staff. One could sense the camaraderie, the support and guidance among participants involved, often initiated by masters of ceremonies. Heart-warming to witness!
How proud I felt as I watched this production and viewed the arts displayed in the foyer, knowing that Sundre High School clearly is a place where individual skills and passions are nurtured and encouraged so that young people enter their adult worlds more confident and capable than they otherwise would.
I'm grateful for the most enjoyable evening.
