I wish to make a comment about the blue bins that are to be now delivered to ALL homes in Olds.
This was supposed to be a pilot project but those of us who were not in the pilot project still had to pay the monthly use of them.
Now they are to be delivered to ALL homes in Olds and with an increase for the use of them.
I am not at all happy about this as we have already paid more than our share for nothing.
I personally do NOT want a blue bin but have been told that we have no choice...
Also now our black bin pickup will be once a month.
To some folks that will be impossible to have black bins picked up only once a month.
I honestly do understand that things in the world keep going up but as a senior, we do not get any breaks when it comes to these bins, water, food at grocery stores, gas at the pump, but the people in charge of these things seem to think it is OK.
A dollar here and a dollar there is OK.
Well enough is enough.
