Re: Innisfail's health-care heroes create lasting legacy

It was heartwarming for me to read in our local paper of three of our health-care providers receiving one of the two 2021 Rhapsody Health-Care Hero awards. Good job and congratulations.

Also to Chinook’s Edge School Division and Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools for making concerted efforts to support the mental health of their respective students moving into the post-pandemic world.

As well, two weeks ago I read of the initiatives the Town of Innisfail and our province are taking to help those dealing with mental health issues due to the pandemic.

I’m also enjoying the cessation of the train whistle through our town. Even though we live close to the 42nd. St. crossing I would have liked to see the whistle continue there until September or October for the safety of our residents who need to cross the tracks in that area.

I believe we live in a very warm and caring community and our mayor, town council and CAO are doing a great job. Thank you to all who are contributing to making a difference.

Marg Fehr,

Innisfail
