Thank you to my neighbours at 5233 and 5301 44 St., Olds.
They have the two corner lots on either side of the entrance to Mount View Close where I live.
They have more than three times the sidewalk length of the average home in Olds and yet they ALWAYS promptly cleared the snow on the FULL width of the sidewalks. Especially after this extreme winter, they deserve recognition and thanks.
I have chronic pain and a mobility disability but I need to walk for my health and for my dog.
I fell several times this winter due mostly to residents who did not clear the snow and had hidden ice on the sidewalks outside their homes.
I am especially angry at homeowners who found the time to clear their driveways but could not clear four or five metres of narrow sidewalk.
This happens way too much and those residents should be ashamed.
