Re: Letter to the editor “Exotic dancers are legal entertainment”, on page 6 of the October 9 issue of the Olds Albertan.
I'll hazard a guess that the freedoms our soldiers (and family members) fought for did not include such things as the recent fundraising choices of our local legion.
The freedoms fought for were about me having the right to voice my conservative opinion, and you having the right to defend your liberal one.
My subjecting society to “discretion” is no worse than the legion subjecting townsfolk of all ages to that nearly-nude ad in the local paper.
I do wish you all the best, Mr. Bedson, in your endeavours to keep the legion afloat, and I just might join that public relations team of yours, as suggested.
