Concerns raised about students' 'random rampage'

It seems that the willful damage to property this year by college students is on the rise. Having been growing and tending to a front hedge for 25 years means nothing to students walking home from the bars. This fall has brought much damage.

This fall has brought much damage.

Complete sections are broken and missing from my hedge.

This happened one night when loud and drunk students walked back to residence.

In order to maintain them for next year I may have to just cut them down and start again.

This generation of non-responsible mass destruction and non-thinking, selfish students have arose to a new high.

Obviously they were never taught behaviour.

They also lack any social skills beyond lifting a glass of suds to their lips and verbalizing using foul language.

Is it the parents' fault?

Not totally.

Perhaps they feel indestructible at this moment in their existence but I have no doubt that the random rampage is here to stay.
