OLDS – Saskatchewan RCMP say a missing man with connections to Olds and Didsbury may be or has been in the area and are asking for the public’s help in locating him.

On June 1, RCMP in Watrous, Saskatchewan received a report of a missing 33-year-old male, Justin Lounsbury.

He was last seen in Manitou Beach, Sask. on May 31 at approximately 3 or 4 p.m.

“Watrous RCMP have been searching for him since the report was received, checking locations he's known to visit and following up on information received. Investigators are now asking members of the public to report all sightings of Justin and information on his whereabouts,” stated RCMP in a press release issued today (June 6).

Investigation has determined that Lounsbury may have travelled to, or through, the Olds area, police say. He is also known to travel to the Didsbury area and the Cranbrook area of British Columbia, “however his current whereabouts are unknown,” the release states.

Lounsbury is described as approximately five-feet, 10-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has short brown hair, brown eyes and numerous tattoos. He was last seen wearing grey track pants, a black hoodie and black sneakers.

In June 2022, Lounsbury was listed as a Didsbury resident when he was reported as missing to the local detachment after last being seen at the Didsbury Inn. In that case, he was found weeks later.

Anyone with information on Lounsbury's whereabouts is asked to contact Watrous RCMP at 306-946-3316. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
