December 23, 1958 - April 15, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Trudy Sorensen on April 15, 2023 at the age of 64 years old. Trudy is predeceased by her father John Beaulieu and her husband Russell Sorensen. Remembering Trudy are her mother Maggie Beaulieu and children Robyn, Daisy (Ryan) and Randi. Trudy is predeceased by her brother Ken Beaulieu and remembered by her brothers Bernard, Keith, and Brad; and her sisters Barb, Bonnie, Tammy and Chantel. As well as her grandchildren Jordon, Megan (Avery), Brayden, Makenzy, Dawson and Greyson.
Trudy will be forever remembered as someone that was always willing to have a coffee with you. She cared for everyone around her and wanted the best for them. She was always willing to jump in the car with the next person that was going on an adventure, whether it be into town or miles down the road.
Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She loved hearing about what was happening in their lives and was always encouraging them to do great things.
She loved crocheting, yes crocheting (not knitting)! She would watch her daytime tv and crochet, waiting for the next person to come around for a visit. She loved Hallmark Christmas movies and a nice warm house. She would always be wrapped in a blanket or wearing a hoodie or both depending on where she was.
Trudy’s constant smile and happy presence will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
There will be a memorial service in High Level, Alberta at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to Grande Prairie Regional hospital. Trudy spent her last few months there and the amazing staff became a second family.
