The family moved to Edmonton during WW II, and from there to a farm east of Bowden. In 1952 Mary and Boyd Radford married.  For a few years they lived in Calgary, and in the late 50’s they moved to the Radford farm where she lived for the rest of her life.

Mary enjoyed life on the farm, but also developed a travel bug, with numerous trips to Hawaii, Arizona, a cruise out of Galveston and a trip to Holland with family to visit extended family. Mary had many friends and enjoyed interacting with people on a regular basis. 2020 and 2021 were difficult for her because of the restrictions of interacting with others.

She is survived by 4 children, Michael (Nelda), Mary Ann (Brent), Patrick, Kim (Wade), grandchildren, Elisabeth, Preston, Denise, Victoria, Brianna, William, and Kristian. Great grandchildren, Chloe, James, Theodore, and Emma Grace. Mary is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family in Canada, the United States and throughout Europe. The Family of Mary Ida (nee Volker) Radford is saddened to announce her passing at the Didsbury

Mary will be missed by those that knew her and will always have a place in our heart.
