It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Molzan (Kozak), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Liz will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and being loved by her. May she rest in quiet peace, knowing her love, kindness, and selflessness will forever remain in our hearts.

Elizabeth's unwavering love and devotion for her husband, Oscar, was evident throughout their journey together.  Elizabeth cherished the time she spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren; their presence brought her immense pleasure, and she treasured every moment shared with them.

One of Elizabeth's greatest passions was cooking and baking. Her culinary skills were unmatched, and she pretty much forced food on all who came around. Her love for nourishing others through her hours in the kitchen was a true reflection of her caring personality.

In addition to her love for family and cooking, Elizabeth found solace in spending time at Pigeon Lake. The tranquility of the lake, its surroundings and good friendships brought her great joy. She took pleasure in tending to her beloved flowers, ensuring they thrived under her care.

Liz will be cherished and always remembered by her loving husband of 67 years, Oscar; sons, Rae (Dianne) and Les (Trish); grandchildren, Christina (Kevin), Michael, Alyssa (Josh), Kaylea (Bryce), Jon (Janelle), Katie, Matthew (Jenn), and Stacie (Craig); great-grandchildren, Haedyn, Blake, Ellie, Nate, Kenzie, Oliver, Benjamin, Catherine, Nicholas, Zoey and Monroe and by her “adopted” special nieces, Wendy and Michelle.

Liz was predeceased by her parents, Nikolas and Anne Kozak and siblings, Mildred, Joe, Ed, Bernard, Roman and Ken.

The family would like to thank the staff of Seasons Retirement Communities, Drayton Valley for the care, compassion and love they showed for Liz.

A Celebration of Liz’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #269, 5204 51 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta on Friday January 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
