1934 - 2020

It is with heavy hearts we have said our final goodbye to our father Keith Ford.

Keith passed away peacefully on November 4, 2020 in the Olds Hospital & Care Centre.

Henry “Keith” Ford, was born on November 23, 1934 in Lethbridge, Alberta where he lived and worked on the family farm with his mother Sara and stepfather Buster Morden.

Keith attended Olds College where he met the love of his life, Madeline Gulbe. They were married on February 27, 1954 and began their life together in Olds, raising 3 children, Doug, Teresa and Alisa. Keith worked for a time for British American Oil, and eventually decided to purchase R.B. Hanson Transport a local cattle hauling company. He and Madeline ran the successful company together for many years and Keith made numerous friends and had many loyal customers. Keith liked to visit with people and was a regular at the local coffee shops. After his retirement, A&W became his unofficial office where he could be found visiting with his many coffee buddies. In his retirement years he made a strong connection with the local Pilipino community and often could be seen helping them.

Keith was predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years Madeline and his dear daughter Alisa; father Fredrick Ford, mother and stepfather, Sara and Buster Morden; siblings Marion Dowd, Dorothy Goeson, Betty Cameron and Dale Morden.
