Bill Passed away Feb 5, 2021 at the age of 93 years. Bill was born in St. Walburg, Saskatchewan. He spent his early years in St. Walburg & Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan. Moving to Alberta in his late teens, working for farmers. Bill later hauled mine props to Drumheller & driving truck for local businesses. He met and married Evelyn Armstrong in 1955. They enjoyed 65 years together. Bill started working for Vennard & Ellithorpe in1956 transitioning to Procor Sulphur Handling Division in 1973 and retiring in 1990. Bill loved spending time with his family, working with his hands, fishing & camping with family and friends. After retirement Bill & Evelyn enjoyed their winters in Arizona.
Bill was predeceased by his Mother Martha Passenger, Mother-in-law & Father-in-law Clara & Jim Armstrong; Brother-in-law Tom Armstrong; Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law Doris & Don Dodd & nephew Rick Dodd.
He leaves to mourn, Evelyn, daughter Elaine (Jim) Quinn; son Jim (Debby) Crawford; Five Grandchildren:: Jordan Quinn, Terra Quinn, Joshua ( Tracy) Crawford, Andrea ( Dan) McPherson, Joe Crawford & Allison Smith. Five Great-Grandchildren: Emilia & Bennett Crawford; Iver, Gwen & Etta McPherson. Evelyn and Family would like to Thank Dr’s Leanne & Michael Blackshaw for their care and a SPECIAL THANK YOU to the wonderful staff at the Olds Hospital LTC for their LOVE, CARE & SUPPORT.
