Bev was born February 5,1939 in Wilkie Sask. Bev and Jim loved the cowboy lifestyle. Cowboy poetry, cattle drives, horse back riding, the dogs! They had a hobby farm in Carstairs where they bred Golden Retrievers, plus had horses, cows and sheep. They travelled: Hawaii, Costa Rica, Iceland, Alaska & Arizona.

After Jim’s passing, she continued to travel; Africa, Churchill MB to see the polar bears, and with her friend Evelyn, pulling the fifth-wheel all the way to Mexico and back! Bev was always thrilled to receive visitors, friends, family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her face lit up when they entered her room.

Growing up her family owned and operated a General Store in Dundurn, Sask. In her adult years, Bev worked for Cleare Petroleum in Calgary. Even after they bought their hobby farm in Carstairs, Bev continued to drive to Calgary as she loved her job.

Bev will be interned with Jim and Vicki at a private family ceremony at Queens Park Cemetery in Calgary. The family would like to thank the Didsbury Long-Term Care Unit for their support and care of Bev during her time there.
