Dorothy Andersen, 83, of Olds, AB, fell asleep in death on March 28, 2024.

Born in Red Deer, AB on May 28, 1940 to John and Helena Niblock, Dorothy was known for her love of music and houseplants, especially African Violets, and her collection of chicken decor. She was an accomplished pianist and seamstress and had a strong love for God.

Dorothy spent her life promoting Bible education and remained faithful until her death. She held tight to the Bible’s promise at Acts 24:15 “that there is going to be a resurrection”. Her family is comforted by that hope and looks forward to being reunited with Dorothy at that time.

Dorothy is survived by her younger brother, Ronald (Cherie) Niblock; five children, Darrell (Carol) Paul, Deanna Peever, Darcy (Dawn) Paul, Deidre Raines and Debbi (Sean) Payne; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 6220 53 Street Olds, AB followed by a tea at Evergreen Centre 5237 52 Street Olds, AB.

Zoom details available upon request. Please contact Deidre at [email protected].
