SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Israel Mianscum scored two goals and added two assists as the visiting Sherbrooke Phoenix defeated the Saint John Sea Dogs 7-3 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Sunday.

Mavrick Lachance also scored twice for the Phoenix (10-6-0-1), while Alexis Doucet, Coen Miller and Lewis Gendron netted singles.

Matteo Mann, Egan Beveridge and Eriks Mateiko scored for the Sea Dogs (5-9-1-2), who outshot the Phoenix 35-22.

The Phoenix went 2-for-6 on the power play, while the Sea Dogs were 0-for-7.

SYDNEY, N.S. — Quinn Kennedy scored twice and added two assists as the visiting Rimouski Oceanic whipped the Cape Breton Eagles 6-0.

Mathis Aguilar, Mikaël Denis, Jacob Mathieu and Tyson Goguen also scored for the Oceanic (9-7-2-0). Cédric Massé made 24 saves to record the shutout.

Nicolas Ruccia of the Eagles (9-9-0-0) allowed six goals on 40 shots and was replaced at 9:35 of the third by Jakub Milota, who made four saves.

Mathys Fernandez stopped 24 shot to post the shutout for the Sagueneens (8-7-1-2).

Quentin Miller of the Remparts (7-10-0-0) stopped 20 of the 21 shots he faced.
