Check out Tier 1 - 5 players, coaches and managers

SUNDRE - Sundre Rec Hockey Association iced five teams in the 2021-22 season.

At the end of the season, Sundre Rec Hockey President Shawn MacNeil posted the following farewell as the season drew to a close:

"Well another season has almost come to an end. Its always a bitter sweet time for me as I really do enjoy being at the rink with kids and overseeing the entire program as my roll of president. I will miss that as well as coaching my team. I also really enjoyed working games as an official this year, with the highlight being able to work games with my son Kayden. I will also enjoy having our weekends off now to spend time with the family away from the rink.
At this time I want to thank our board members for all their work behind the scenes to run this program. It takes a lot of hours from these people for things to run as smoothly as they do. Next a huge shout out to the managers and coaches for all you do through out the season because lets be honest, if you don't step up to fill these positions the kids don't get to play and that would truly be a shame. Also thank you to the parents and the kids for a great season. I know the COVID rules at the start were not a lot of fun but I think we did a pretty good job trying to follow the rules the government set out so the kids could play an almost normal hockey season. Lastly I want to thank the arena staff. Between communicating with me for flood times during games and practices or cancelling ice times when we didn't need the ice they were always accommodating to our needs.
So in closing I want to thank everyone for another successful season of Sundre Rec Hockey! I am sure I will see some of you on the ball diamonds in the coming months. Enjoy your team wrap ups and enjoy your summers, stay safe and hopefully we will see you all back at the arena in September.
thanks,"
