Olds Koinonia Christian School has come off its best badminton season ever this spring with 15 junior and 10 senior players from the school advancing to zone competitions.At the senior high zones hosted at Olds High School on April 12, Brielle Jansen and Zach Pogoda won gold in the Grade 11 mixed doubles category.They went on to compete at the provincial championships in Lethbridge on May 2 and 3 where they finished with a record of one win and two losses.At the junior high zones held in Okotoks on May 1, sisters Jewel and Kayla Jansen won gold in Grade 9 girls doubles while silver medals went to Kennedy Coates and Zac Longstaff in Grade 8 mixed doubles and Megan Nikula and Bryce Parrott in Grade 9 mixed doubles.
