OLDS — Seven student-athletes received scholarships during the second annual Olds College Broncos Scholarship Breakfast.
Men’s volleyball player Jesse Stoddart received the Konica Minolta award, which has a $1,000 value.
Six students, Felicia Rodney and Katharina Oeltermann of women’s soccer; Abu Bangura, men’s soccer; Jesse Jack, women’s hockey; Braden Bates, men’s volleyball; and Landon Parrington, men’s basketball, each received Escape Coach Lines leadership awards, worth $500.
The breakfast, a fundraiser for the college’s athletic scholarship program, was held Feb. 8 at the Olds College Alumni Centre.
