After placing fifth at the 2014 ASICs Cadet / Juvenile Canadian Wrestling Championships in Guelph, Ont, in the 65-kilogram category, Olds High School wrestler Maeghan Wild was chosen to serve as an alternate for Canada's national wrestling team in the cadet age group.Wild, 16, will compete if needed at international and Pan-American events in May and July, said Spartan wrestling coach George Grant.The national competition in Guelph took place from April 4 to 6 and three other wrestlers from the school, Kevin and Austin Waldron and Cole Urbanowski, competed in the event but did not place.
