INNISFAIL - A Red Deer County man died Saturday in an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) incident, police say.
On June 19 at 7 p.m., Innisfail RCMP said they received a call of a serious ATV rollover in the area of Township Road 362 and Range Road 280.
Innisfail RCMP attended, along with emergency medical services.
A 77-year-old male was provided medical care on scene; however, did not survive and was declared deceased on scene, states a news release issued by media relations officer Const. Patrick Lambert.
Police are not releasing the man's name.
"The Innisfail RCMP preliminary investigation indicates the male was operating the ATV alone and lost control," the release states.
No further updates are anticipated.
