The Friends of the Innisfail Library Society is holding a raffle to raise money for new furnishings and equipment for the new public library.
Tickets are $2 each, and go on sale on April 15 at the Innisfail Trade Show.
Following the trade show raffle tickets will be available to purchase at the Innisfail Public Library (4949 – 49 Street).
There are 1,000 tickets available, and the draw date is Sept. 15 when the following prizes will be awarded.
* First prize - Kobo eReader with accessories
* Second prize - RCA Portable DVD player
* Third prize - SanDisk mp3 Player
The raffle is not only to raise money but also to raise awareness of the services provided by the Innisfail Public Library. E-books, audio books and DVDs are available to borrow with a valid library membership.
