Mountain View Colts hold Ride For Dad Charity Game this weekend

DIDSBURY - The Mountain View Colts are home tonight (Feb. 3) against the Red Deer Vipers and against the Rocky Rams on Saturday at 8 p.m.

Saturday’s game at the Memorial Complex is the 2022-23 Ride For Dad Charity Game in support of prostate cancer research.

The Mountain View Colts fell 4-3 in shootout against the Airdrie Techmation Thunder at home on Jan. 28.

The loss came a day after the scheduled home game against Red Deer at the Didsbury Memorial Complex was postponed due to weather/road condition.

That Saturday, the Colts got goals from Hayden Sotheran (assist from captain Paton Rothenbusch), from Rothenbusch (assist Steven Bell and Corson Waiting) and Sotheran (unassisted). 

The Thunder’s Tanner Chapman scored the shootout winner.

Colts netminder Chance Griffith stopped 32 of 35 shots in regulation time.
