DIDSBURY —The suspect charged with first-degree murder in the death of a young Bowden mother was scheduled to be back in Didsbury provincial court on June 21.

At that time, Ross Arran McInnes, 27, is expected to plead guilty or not guilty and if not guilty, choose how he wishes to be tried.

McInnes is charged with first-degree murder in regard to the death of 25-year-old Kirsten (Gardner) O’Donoghue in a Bowden apartment building the evening of March 22. 

She was the mother of two-year-old twin boys, Braxton and Jensen.

McInnes’s last appearance in court regarding the matter occurred on June 14. His first court appearance was March 29.
