St. Albert RCMP is asking for help identifying the driver of a grey Mazda sedan after it was involved in a drive-by pellet gun shooting in Jensen Lakes last month.

“On August 18, 2023, at approximately 6:50 p.m. a grey (four) door Mazda sedan drove by a residence in Jensen Lakes and an unknown person in the rear passenger seat of the Mazda shot at an individual on their driveway, with what is believed to be a pellet gun,” reads a Sept. 7 RCMP release.

The individual was struck with a pellet but not seriously injured, RCMP say.

Mounties are hoping the public can help to identify the owner of the Mazda, and anyone who might have been in the car when the incident occurred.

“If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.”
