Police are investigating a fatal crash north of Okotoks that took place early Sunday morning.
RCMP responded to a single-vehicle accident on Dunbow Road near 44 Street East, in Foothills County, at about 1:10 a.m. on Jan. 28.
Police said the vehicle, a white car, had gone into the ditch and had severe damage.
The driver, a 44-year-old male from High River, was found dead when police arrived. The female passenger was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
RCMP said the cause of the crash is under investigation and offered condolences to family and friends of the deceased.
