The Airdrie RCMP briefly issued a shelter-in-place order in the early morning hours on Saturday in Balzac’s Butte Valley Estates as officers responded to an incident near Township Road 292 north of Highway 506.
That order was lifted at 5 a.m. after police reported an adult male had been taken safely into custody following a firearms related incident.
No injuries were reported.
