CALGARY — Investigators in Calgary believe there was a fight between two drivers on Saturday night before one of them was found dead.

Police say in a news release they believe there was a near collision in the Crescent Heights neighbourhood in northwest Calgary shortly after 9 p.m.

There was then a "fatal altercation" in the Hounsfield Heights neighbourhood, police say, and one man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A second man was found in Hounsfield Heights near a vehicle and was declared dead at the scene.

Police say there is no indication at this time that either driver was known to each other before the altercation.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday, and police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact them.
