Fitbit, the popular walking and fitness tracking app, has several ways to help its members in this regard. Let’s take a closer look.

Where to Find Fitbit’s Mindful Programs

Those with the Fitbit app can discover the mindfulness programs by tapping the “discover” icon on the dashboard. Once there, you’ll see a tableau of premium programs. If you don’t have a premium subscription, simply keep scrolling down to access the drop-down list of free programs. Tap on “mindfulness” and a variety of options pop up.

What Type of Programs Are on the App?

The programs are a variety of lengths; some are three minutes long; some are longer than 40. Choose among stress relief, help to drift off to sleep, gathering focus, full body relaxation and more. You’ll need to have your speakers on to hear the audio.

The fact is mindfulness and meditation can be practiced anywhere, anytime. Stressed? Pop on the two-minute stress reliever audio. Listen to it in your office with the door closed, or in your car on a work break. Frustrated by the sad and frightening news reports? Put your headphones on and play “A Journey to Peacefulness” as you walk. Maybe your day took a bad turn, and you want to salvage it. Spend five minutes listening to “A Fresh Start.”
