SUNDRE - The Sundre Oilmen's Association recently donated $1,485 to the Sundre Greenwood Neighbourhood Place Society in support of the non-profit community organization's effort to open a new youth centre.

The youth centre, called The Den, is at the location of the former Centre Street Video just north of the traffic lights on the west side of Centre Street.

The funds were raised on Aug. 6 during a tournament hosted at the Sundre Golf Course that brought out a capacity crowd of 144 golfers.

The association also donated $1,965 to the Colten Martyn Fund as well as $885 to the Sundre High School's 2022 sailing trip fund from the total amount raised at the golf tournament.
