SUNDRE - A thief made off with a large haul of cigarettes from a local grocery store recently.

Police report that Sundre IGA had been victimized by a break and enter at about 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, when a thief managed to enter the premises through an employee entrance.

The suspect stole approximately $2,000 worth of cigarettes, according to the report. 

“CCTV footage in the area captured images of an older male, with a disheveled appearance, wearing sneakers, dark pants and a black hoody sweater,” said police, adding the male was driving a white Ford F150 crew cab pickup truck with chrome trim.
