Thank you to The Jolly Gifter, whomever you may be. While running errands in Innisfail on Dec. 21, I was thrilled to be the recipient of a Christmas card passed out of the back window of a car.
Two young children were being escorted around town for the sole purpose of spreading holiday joy in a year where it is so needed.
The Tim Hortons gift card was a wonderful surprise and it will be used with a smile on my face.
Thank you also to the parents of these great kids, for teaching them the value of kindness and giving. You should be very proud of your efforts and your children for embracing the spirit of the season with such happiness.
I walked around all day with a smile on my face. The beautiful card is displayed on my piano and will be a happy reminder that it is, indeed, a wonderful world.
