OLDS — July 13 is the tentative reopening date for the Splash Park and the Aquatic Centre.
Emergency Operations Centre director Brian Powell made that announcement during the town’s June 22 council meeting.
He said tentative plans also call for the Sportsplex to reopen on Aug. 7.
Powell cited a lengthy list of town facilities that have already opened.
They include the Imperial, Hedges and Exhibition ball diamonds, Rotary Athletic Park of Olds, Centennial horseshoe pits, disc golf, Elks soccer field, the Skatepark, Olds Municipal Library, the Nu2U thrift store, the Mountain View Museum, the town’s administrative office and the fire hall.
