OLDS — Six sports facilities in the town of Olds were reopened Friday, June 12 as part of Alberta’s state 2 relaunch under COVID-19 pandemic protocols.

However, as of Friday, the Splash Park, Aquatic Centre and the new Rotary Athletic Park of Olds still remained closed.

In a news release, the town announced that the following sports facilities are now open:

“It is important to ensure a responsible local relaunch of programs and services.”

Users are asked to “continue to follow all Alberta Health protocols and make responsible decisions for yourself and your loved ones.”

Anyone wishing to book ball diamonds or soccer fields is asked to contact Facility Bookings at 403.507.4844 or email: [email protected].
