Olds RCMP officer recognized for efforts to stop impaired driving

OLDS - Olds RCMP Cst. Tim Dulmage was recently presented with a Corporal Cumming's Watch Certificate of Recognition for his efforts in combatting impaired driving.

Town of Olds Mayor Judy Dahl made the presentation on July 21.

Cpl. Cumming's Watch is a collaborative effort between Alberta RCMP and Mothers Against Drunk Driving Canada to support efforts in the detection and removal of impaired drivers on Alberta roads.

In 2021, Dulmage was credited with removing 34 impaired drivers from the roadways in the Olds RCMP detachment's area.

Officers who have removed more than 25 impaired drivers in a year receive a Certificate of Recognition and a Gold Challenge Coin.
