OLDS- Suspects in a break and enter at Mountain View Dodge evaded capture as police arrived on scene in the early hours of Nov. 11.

Olds RCMP confirmed in a release issued yesterday that two individuals used a newer model black Ford F250 or F350 dually truck and tow ropes to pull down a portion of a fence at the dealership east of Olds.

“No property appears to have been stolen as a result of the incident,” according to police.

RCMP were notified of the break and enter in progress at approximately 3:26 a.m. on Monday morning.

“Live monitored surveillance cameras captured images of two suspects acting suspiciously in the area of the fenced lot and police were notified of the activity,” states the release.

Once a portion of the fence was down, police say the passenger exited the vehicle and ran into the dealership lot.

As police arrived, the suspects fled in the truck, states the release.

The driver of the truck was wearing dark clothing and the passenger was wearing white clothing, a balaclava and gloves, according to police.

The RCMP’s investigation is continuing and anyone with information about the incident is requested to contact the Olds RCMP at 403-556-3323. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by internet at www.tipsubmit.com.
