Student Vote is a program that provides students with the opportunity to experience the voting process firsthand and practise the habits of active and informed citizenship.

“All students are taking part in a realistic simulation of the actual democratic process of this country. The process and look of Student Vote purposefully mimic and imitate that of Elections Canada to encourage future participation in our democracy," says Darcy Ledrew, a teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic School.

"My hope is that it makes voting seem natural to students so that in the future, they exercise their rights and have their voices heard.”
