OLDS — About $750,000 worth of improvements have been undertaken at the Highway 27 overpass on Highway 2, east of Olds.

The project involved improvements to guardrails, removing an overhead sign structure, regarding a side slope as well as repaving in the area.

The work began June 16 and by the first week in July, crews were undertaking what was expected to be the final portion of the project: repaving Highway 27 just west of the overpass.
