OLDS — Community Learning Campus (CLC) director Jackie Taylor is impressed with how well staff and clients at the CLC Fitness Centre have followed COVID-19 protocols since the centre reopened.

It reopened June 25 after being shut down for almost two months, due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

“I am extremely pleased, both obviously I guess with the planning that we put into the facility on how to have it open safely, but our clients have been exceptional. They have just been so good,” Taylor said during an interview.

She said clients were “very keen” to get back to working out in the fitness centre so they’ve been wearing face masks and wiping equipment down more thoroughly than ever.

“The clients and the staff, everybody’s just doing a really good job to make sure we’re all doing our due diligence,” Taylor said.
