August 20, 1940 – April 11, 2021 Marion Laura May Schafer Leischner was born in Didsbury on August 20, 1940 to Valentine and Ella Schafer. She was raised with her brothers Ken, Gordon, Mervin and Howard on the family farm east of Olds.
