It is with our deepest sorrow to announce that Kevin, our beloved son, brother, dad, uncle, nephew and friend has suddenly passed away April 28, 2021.

Kev was a kind-hearted, easy-going guy that would give you the shirt off his back. His sense of humour and fun-loving personality struck the hearts of most who knew him and gained him many friends who referred to him as “Zig”. He would get lovingly teased by his siblings about how “fussy” he was of certain things and defend his ways with his cheeky comebacks. We will miss his joking wit and his huge heart!

In his early years, Kevin can be remembered playing ping-pong, cruising around Olds in his ’69 Chevelle or working on the pipelines, a job he loved. Almost anyone who knew him has a funny story to tell and even his nieces and nephews break out in a smile when they talk about “Uncle Kev.” Kevin lived most of his adult life in Calgary where he continued to touch the hearts and leave an impacting impression an all he met. His final journey, in Calgary where he lived his last few years at “Aurora on the Park” where he made friends with staff and the residents.

Kevin is lovingly remembered by his Parents: Donna (Murray) and Marvin (Louise), Siblings: Shawna (Chris), Ed, Tanya and Maria (Lance), Daughter: Tia as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents: Elmer and Violet, Charlie and Marie and his other dad, Sig as well as extended family and friends. He was a great guy, loved by many and leaves a huge void in the hearts of his family and friends.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the staff at Aurora on the Park, Foothills Hospital and all the support workers for their care of Kevin and their compassionate support to our family.

Due to covid restrictions, there will not be a celebration of life at this time.
