With the most profound sorrow, I said goodbye to my best friend and mother. Beverley Margret Wentland passed away on June 29, 2022, at age 78.

On May 8, 1981 (41 years), Beverley married the love of her life, John Gustav Wentland and together, they raised five teenagers. Beverley and John enjoyed spending their retirement travelling in the motorhome with their beloved dog Mitzy or exploring the world (Hawaii, Alaska cruise, Mexico).

Beverley’s strong passion for quilting was reflected in 2010 as a founding member of the Central Alberta Quilt Guild (Red Deer) and an enthusiastic member of the Wild Rose Country Quilters (Innisfail) in 2013.

Bev will be lovingly remembered by her husband, John Wentland, and children Roxanne Rempel, Dan Williams (Laura), Darcy Wentland (Shelly), Brian Wentland (Tyler), and Johnny Wentland (Galyna). Grandchildren Jazmin Fleming (Daniel), Jade Skutar (Richard), James Williams, Jarred Williams, Kristen Wentland, Bogdan Wentland,  Great Grand Children  Theodore Skutar, Jaxson Fleming, Adrien Wentland, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

We want to thank the staff at Red Deer Hospice for their excellent care and compassion for

Beverly and her family during her transition from earth to spirit.

At Beverley’s request, there will be no funeral or Celebration of Life. Memorial Donations may be made directly to Red Deer Hospice Society www.reddeerhospice.com.
