Jennifer has roots in Lethbridge, she was born in the city and was surrounded by a large family with grandparents and many aunts, uncles, and cousins to grow up with. She lived in Claresholm for a couple of years but, for the most part, was raised in Lethbridge’s northside attending Westminster Elementary, Wilson Jr. High, and graduating from Winston Churchill High School with the class of 1992. Jennifer attended Lethbridge Community College, earning her diploma in Early Learning and Child Care. She had a passion for children and dedicated much of her life to kids. She operated several dayhomes and daycares during her career.

In High School, Jennifer met Mitch and fell in love. They married on September 17th, 1994. As a couple, they were blessed with four children she adored. In addition, they opened their home to care for nearly 30 foster children she loved like her own. On March 28th, Jennifer and Mitch celebrated their thirtieth dating anniversary. They continued to celebrate both their dating and wedding anniversaries each year.

Jennifer was a natural mother. She understood her children and strived to help them reach their potential as happy, confident, good, and capable people. She treasured their achievements and was always in their corner. Jennifer was an incredibly supportive wife and the best life partner. She put the needs of her family before her own and always worked to be her best self. Jen gave generously and expected nothing in return. She loved family camping trips and time spent shopping and being pampered with the girls. Jenny was very close with her parents and sister and invested her time and energy in them with as much vigor as she did her own children. She cared deeply for her in-laws. She had a caring soul and was a true friend.
