1930 - 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce our dear Eileen has passed away at the Sunset Manor, Innisfail, Alberta on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the age of 90 years.

Eileen was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan and spent her childhood in Piapot. Her adult years were spent in Calgary, Alberta and eventually, she moved to Innisfail, Alberta.  While her last years were challenging, due to her illness, we were blessed to have so much time with her.  Eileen’s bright laugh and social spirit made her many friends along the way, in her travels and at home; where she enjoyed bowling, cards, bingo and settling in to watch a baseball game.  Her inner strength and strong will brought her far in life.  She was loved, and had so much love to give in return.

Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Gail Nee of Fernie, British Columbia and Kathy (Mike) Caron of Courtenay, British Columbia and her grandchildren, Kristi (Sean) Cyr of Lethbridge, Alberta, Corey (Tesha) Nee of Cranbrook, British Columbia, Elodie Caron of Calgary, Alberta, Jesse (Candice) Caron of Courtenay, British Columbia and Kirby (Jennifer) Ingmarson of Red Deer, Alberta and her seven great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her sister, Gwen Riley of Medicine Hat, Alberta; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Eileen was predeceased by a son, Gord St. Dennis, her first husband, Joe St. Dennis, her second husband, Percy Kinniburgh, and her sisters, Lorraine and Audrey.

No Funeral Service will be held.  The family would like to extend a special Thank you to Sunset Manor for their excellent care. If desired, Memorial Donations in Eileen’s honor may be made directly to the Innisfail United Church, 4720 - 48 Avenue, Innisfail, Alberta, T4G 1N6.
